“Before cell phones and second chances, small towns held everything—our secrets, our sins, and sometimes, our salvation.”
James D Simser
James D Simser
James D Simser writes character-driven stories about redemption, resilience, and the long road home. His work spans new adult redemption fiction, YA coming-of-age, and YA paranormal—all set in Mountain Township, Ontario, the real rural community where he grew up. Though the township no longer exists, its fields, back roads, and small-town heart live on in every story he writes.
By day, James works in IT. By night, he returns to the world that shaped him, exploring the fragile beauty of second chances and the ghosts—both human and otherwise—that linger in the quiet corners of the small towns he grew up in the 1970s and 1980s.
